Pulse (magazine)

Pulse magazine is a weekly publication for general practitioners (GPs) in the United Kingdom.

It publishes news, features and comment pieces on clinical, political and financial issues relevant to GPs working in primary care. It is published in London by UBM Medica, a subsidiary of United Business Media, and counts 75% of GPs among its readers[1].

Pulse is edited by Richard Hoey[2]. The deputy editor is Steve Nowottny, and digital editor Nigel Praities, while its award-winning staff also includes Gareth Iacobucci, Andy McNicoll and Laura Passi.

Former staff members include Lilian Anekwe, who in 2007 was named the Magazine Journalism Awards' news reporter of the year[3].
